We think we’re pretty smart. We strive for more knowledge, a higher paying position, social status, pricey wardrobe, a bigger house; but obtaining these things is not lasting. There is nothing wrong with blessings, but when they become our source of significance, worth and security, they overtake the true wisdom that comes from God. Wisdom is the ability to discern what is good, right, true and lasting. When we are desperate for the wisdom of God, we walk in the wisdom of Christ.
