Your ego is very busy. We consistently work hard to keep up our ego, whether it be through pleasure, achievements or or status. This leads to ego’s that are puffed up, but very empty. How do we get to the place where the value or verdict people place on you does not control you? Christ’s verdict of us leads to our performance. When we recognize our identity in Christ, we no longer judge ourselves by our performance.
