Our hope doesn’t lie in people or governing systems. We can easily put our hope in others or systems; that they will save us or have our best interests at heart, yet more often that not it is not the case. Our true hope must lie in Jesus alone, so that no matter what heartbreak, mistreatment or betrayal comes our way, we stand on His solid ground.
