July 18 & 19, 2020 | Gospel of Matthew: The Original Normal

Tyler Allred

Matthew 10:5-33

Do you feel like you’re in a waiting room? This extended shelter in place has caused us to feel like our entire life is on pause. Our perspective may dwell on the current situation, but “the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” As we pray for a fresh perspective, we can see that God is living and active in our life. We can step out of the waiting room and participate in what God is doing around us.

Reflection Questions:

GO: Where and to whom have you been flung?

Spend some time listing out the people God has placed in your circle of influence.

SAY: What are some ways you could bring up Jesus that would make people ask more questions?

What stops you from sharing your faith with others?

DO: What do you think it means to live like Jesus is your king?

What can you do this week to demonstrate God’s Kingdom?

KNOW: How do the songs we sang today ground you in your identity in Christ?

What do you think Jesus wants you personally to “know”?
