Friendship is critical for us. You cannot get through adversity without friends. As we walk through life, we need people who walk with us in joy and sorrow, as well as build our faith in the Lord. David and Johnathan were significant examples of friendship in the Bible. It was clear that Johnathan loved David as much as he loved himself. If Johnathan was not there to protect David, he would have been killed. From the beginning, God has said "it is not good for man to be alone."
