Are you on a mission? Many of us have strong dreams and aspirations, but are you working together towards a common mission in your marriage? Marriage was designed by God to prepare us for our final marriage with Him; yet we often have distorted that gift and idolized it. We go into marriage trying to save our lives instead of give it. If your only source of affirmation and fulfillment is your spouse, it will be catastrophic for you. Your job in marriage is to recognize in each other the beautiful thing God is doing and prepare your spouse to see Christ.
