Colossians 4:2-6, 18
By making prayer the subject, we make prayer the power and not the One to whom we pray. Out of a close relationship with God comes a vibrant prayer life. However, what keeps us from praying in the first place? There are two root causes: how we see ourselves and how we see God. As we become desperate in prayer and to become intimate with God, we draw closer to Him. Whether we may feel it or not, we are always desperate for God.
