1 John 2:7-11
Throughout the gospels and even in the epistles, Scripture clearly shows us how much Jesus cared about relationships. Everything he said and did was wrapped up in how he relates to us and desires for us to relate to each other and to him. When John says, "...I am writing you no new commandment, but an old commandment that you had from the beginning," (2:5) we might assume he's referring to the Ten Commandments. But what is he really talking about?
