operation christmas child
boxes due back November 17
Operation Christmas Child is about sharing God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world through gift filled shoeboxes. Each shoebox opens the door for sharing the gospel by working in and through local churches worldwide. After a child receives a shoebox and hears the Good News of Jesus Christ, they are invited to return for The Greatest Journey, a 12 -lesson discipleship program where they learn more about Jesus and how to faithfully follow Him. The children are also encouraged to share what they have learned with friends and family. Two of our mission partners Jim and Annie Culp in Mexico and Wellington and Tati Barros in Mozambique have hosted Operation Christmas Child Outreach events for children in their communities. Each child heard the gospel message, had an opportunity to invite Jesus into their hearts and received a gift-filled shoebox.
Each shoebox packed is an opportunity to share the gospel! Would you consider participating with MHBC by packing one or more shoeboxes for children in need around the world?
Bring your shoebox back to MHBC by November 17th.
Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:1
